The day’s events included an all-day sports camp(middle school kids) focusing this year on track and field basketball ad educational issues. Former athletes were on hand to share their sports and life experiences that they believe could serve as tools in the development of young student athletes. The morning educational session concentrated on mentoring and sharing life experience of successful Bloom alums. The lunch, t-shirts, track meet, professional basketball game and awards were provide free of charge to over 60 needy kids.

After that, the kids were exposed to some serious athletic sessions. Camp athletic mentors work the kids vigorously and at the same time shared the relationship of the drills and its relation to life successes and failures
